Most sites bury this policy. Ours has a single complete table of every cookie we use, what each one does, and how long it sticks around. If we ever add a new one, it'll show up in the changelog.
Categories we use
- Essential — required for the Service to work (e.g. keeping you logged in). These can't be disabled.
- Functional — remember your preferences (theme, onboarding state, timezone). Optional, but disabling them will degrade the experience.
- Analytics — anonymous, aggregate measurement of how features are used so we can improve the product. No advertising IDs, no fingerprinting, no third-party data brokers.
We don't use any advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. There are no third-party trackers loaded anywhere on the site.
Controlling cookies
You can control non-essential cookies in two places:
- Inside the app at
Settings → Privacy → Cookies— toggle Functional and Analytics on or off. - In your browser settings — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies on a per-site basis. Note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent the app from working.
Do Not Track
We honour the Sec-GPC Global Privacy Control and DNT headers: if your browser sends either, we automatically disable Analytics cookies for your session, and we treat the request as a valid opt-out under applicable privacy laws.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie we'll update the table above and bump the “Last updated” date. Material changes (like adding a new analytics provider) will be announced in the changelog.
